most rings Weaver style scope will work on a Picatinny rail mounting?
I ask because I have two sets of scope rings cheap-o for the bases of the Weaver and a set tightens well, but the other seems to wide and not to deepen the railway. should work most of them? I don't want to have to go through several sets for just a fin. ..

Model numbers would be useful, or even sites on the scope of the Weaver Mountains/rings. Would be tempted to attach style rings included Weaver base.
